So I got in around 11 am yesterday, UK time, and since then I’ve pretty much been sleeping. What a pathetic international climate advocate I am! Kind of glad I’m getting the jet lag out of the way though.
I woke up at about 2 am this morning and found the news from Mumbai. It’s all a bit overwhelming. I’m slightly bothered by the fact that although loads of people died at the train station, all the coverage is focusing on the massive luxury hotels. It’s fairly horrifying. I can’t even imagine how I would feel if something like it happened in London, San Francisco, Los Angeles… I suppose something like it did happen in New York, while I was still there. And I still have nightmares about it. I guess it goes back to the post below: what do you do with such horrendous people?
Not to mention there’s all the news from Thailand, which is pretty stunning in and of itself. It’s all a bit much.
